MANU CULTURAL ZONE 5 DAYS AND 4 NIGHTS PALOTOA - TEPARO NATIVE COMMUNITY



Manu Cultural Zone5 Days and 4 Nights PALOTOA - TEPARO Native Community tour crossed the mountains to enter the cloud forest, where we observe some rides for several species of birds, orchids, monkeys. After spending the night at our private lodge (Rainforest lodge) 5h continue by boat downstream to our hostel (Amazon lodge), then visit the hot springs along the way. In the afternoon we do a night walk to observe spiders (tarantulas), insects, frogs and snakes. The next day we explored the jungle primary (virgin) with the opportunity to see many species of monkeys, birds like parrots and incredible variability of plants such as the giant trees, palm trees and medicinal plants. We slept in a tree house, well we will see a lick of mammals and at night you can see tapirs, deer and other animals. On the fourth day return to the lodge and travel by boat to visit a beautiful lake and see capybaras, and many bird species, spending the night near the river high god mother in tents. On the last day we will return to Cusco by boat and bus.


DAY 1 CUSCO - PILCOPATA
We leave from Cusco by private bus, first stopping to visit the pre Incas burial towers of Ninamarca .We then drive through the mountain to get to the typical folkloric town of Paucartambo here we will take a short walk around the town before carrying on to tres cruces , the highest point of and entrance to Manu national park . from here we will continue in to the cloud forest and at san Pedro we will walk for around 1 hour to observe the national bird of Peru , the cock of the rock and many different kinds of monkeys, plant and flowers .We arrive at our private rain forest lodge in the evening where we will stay for the night.

DAY 2 PILCOPATA - AMAZON ECOLOGICAL RESERVE.
After breakfast we will continue by private bus to Atalaya. on the way we will stop to observe a coca plantation, we will also stop at a view point where you can get a good overview of the jungle and river . From Atalaya we leave by motorized boat to Aguas Calientes, where you can bath in the natural hot springs. During the boat trip we will see many different kinds of animals, especially birds, and a beautiful landscape. Then we will continue downriver to R.E.rainforest Lodge for dinner. After dinner we will take a night walk in the jungle to look for spiders and snakes. We will spend the night in our beautiful, comfortable lodge.

DAY 3 AMAZON ECOLOGICAL RESERVE - MAMMAL CLAY LICK PLATFORM.
This day we will explore the jungle on our vast trail system, carrying a small day pack including lunch. On the way we will see many different kinds of the animals such as monkeys, collared peccaries, birds such as eagles, parrots, toucans and medicinal plants and the giant trees. Later in the evening we get to the mammals clay lick we will prepare our beds in the camouflaged house, taking shifts to watch for nocturnal animals (protected by mosquito nets).

DAY 4 MAMMAL CLAY LICK PLATFORM - MACHU WASI LAKE.
In the morning we walk back to the lodge on a different track. There you have some time for relaxing and and a big breakfast. Afterwards we go by boat upriver to machu huasi lake There we will walk in The jungle and visit the lake A balsa raft on machu huasi lake gives us the opportunity to observe more wildlife and the beautiful sunset in the jungle . After dark we will have another opportunity to see some caiman eye. In the evening we will build a bonfire, relax and have some drinks and a BBQ. We will spend the night at the bank of the alto Madre de Dios River sleeping on tents.

DIA 5 MACHU WASI LAKE - CUSCO
We will get up to visit the parrots clay lick and after breakfast we will return to Atalaya by boat , where our private bus we will wetting for us to take us back to Cusco via the cloud forest . We will arrive to Cusco in the afternoon.

Important notes:
Please note that the program may vary slightly so as to maximize your wildlife sightings, depending on the reports of our researchers and experienced naturalist guides based at the lodge.
