Reception at the airport and transportation to the Office, where you will receive a welcoming tropical fruit beverage. You will embark for a 4 hour motorboat trip up the Tambopata River (box lunch on route). During the trip we will be able to observe the local farms, while groups of birds pass over the boat. Opportunity to see families of Capybaras, the largest rodents in the world. Reception, accommodation at the lodge.
After a short rest we will have a brief introductory walk in the forest nearby to learn basic principles of ecology and hear some wildlife natural history and observe the nocturnal life of insects, frogs of various colors, and an occasional encounter with nocturnal mammals. Return to the lodge for dinner. We will enjoy the diverse sounds of the jungle which will accompany our first night in Amazon. Optional night walk. (L, D).

Early wake up at 4:30 am to take a light breakfast (coffee or tea), to begin with our 40-minute journey upstream to the Macaw Clay Lick El Chuncho in the Bahuaja-Sonene National Park. We will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful natural sceneries and wildlife of the riverbanks. At our arrival, if weather permits, we will observe one of the greatest wildlife spectacles where hundreds of parrots and different species of macaws gather to eat clay, an unforgettable experience. Then, we will walk through the river beach searching for animal footprints while we have refreshment. In the middle morning we return to the lodge to have breakfast and then take a rest to relax or do the adventure activities like: zip line, tree climbing, etc. or enjoy the facilities and the surroundings at the lodge.
(At 11 am) We leave again to take a 10 minute river journey to enjoy Cascadas del Gato
(Cat Cascades), where we will swim in a natural Jacuzzi. If you wish, you can join us to fish in the river where inhabit more than 250 species of fishes.
After lunch, we will have an ethno botanical walk into the rainforest by the Tambopata cross path, to learn about plants and medicinal trees of the area; and to observe the amazing jungle ecosystem where we will see walking palm trees, giant lupuna trees, snake trees. At nightfall, we embark again to make a nocturnal caiman search. Optional night walk (B, L, D)
Day 3.- After have breakfast early in the morning you'll take the boat for 3 hours down to Madre de Dios River to get to our next Lodge. After resting for a bit, you'll go for a two-hour walk in the jungle. Your guide will tell you about the lush vegetation (some trees are 500 years old). You'll also have the chance to see birds (parrots, macaws), monkeys snakes, butterflies You'll discover our wonderful jungle.
In the evening, you and your guide will go for a boat ride on Madre de Dios River to look for caimans. You'll spot the shiny red eyes of the caimans with a flashlight. You might also observe capybaras, the biggest rodents in the world. They can weigh up to 60 kilos. Optional Night walk (B,L,D)

DAY 4.-
You'll wake up early (5.30am) to get to a canopy that is 40 meters high. From up there you'll see different species of birds, such as macaws or Eagles.
After breakfast, you'll go to the Monkey Island, which is just across from our Lodge. There, you'll see different kind of monkeys. Then you'll take the boat again to get to the Tambopata National Reserve. After a five kilometers walk, you'll discover the amazing Sandoval Lake. It's a real wonder, where you'll see a great variety of animals, such as birds, monkeys, sloths After a typical lunch; you'll go for a boat ride on the lake to see the animals from closer. If it's a lucky day, you might see giant otters (Animals endangered mammal) or very big black caimans (the biggest one registered is five meters long). You'll be on your way back to the Lodge at sunset. Optional Night walk (B,L,D)

DAY 5.- After breakfast, you'll go for a short walk into the jungle to get to a small river where you'll fish piranhas. You'll be back at the Lodge for lunch time. After a nap, you'll be taken back into the jungle to keep looking for wildlife. You'll be experiencing zip-lining, tree-climbing, etc Of course, a specialist will be with you to tell you everything you need to know about security to experience a safe but exciting adventure! Feel the adrenaline! You'll love it! And in the afternoon we will kayaking in the river No previous experience is required. A boat will bring us upriver and then we will paddle down a portion of the River with some rapids. After that we will go back to the lodge to have dinner. Optional Night walk (B,L,D)

DAY 6.-

After breakfast you'll head back to the city to visit the local market and discover some tropical fruits. Your guide will take you to the airport.

Please note that the program may vary slightly so as to maximize your wildlife sightings, depending on the reports of our researchers and experienced naturalist guides based at the lodge.
