TOURS IN PUNO

On our 8 hour bus trip we will have 4 guided visits to various sights of along the corridor of the southern Altiplano. We will visit the temple the of Andahuaylillas or the sixth chapel of the Americas, the Incan temple of Raqchi, the highest point of the road (4,335 masl)and the Inca Aymara Museum of Pucara. The visits will last 20 to 40 minutes. There will be time for questions, take photos, and explore the area a litle.

There will be a lunch buffet of typical and international food. The diet includes beans, grains, red and white meats. Lunch will be served in a comfortable typical retaurant in Sicuani.

Lake Titicaca Puma of Stone: It is the highest navigable lake of the world to 3810 m.a.s.l. and the biggest lake in fresh water of Latin America. It covers more than 8710 km. Of those that 5.260 km corresponds to Peru and 3.450 km to Bolivia and it extends northwest toward southeast with 190 km. of long and in its wider point it has 80 km. With a narrow channel that separates the lake in two bodies, called smaller Lake or "Huinay Marks" and bigger Lake "Chucuito"
